UK's Western Power Distribution and UK Power Networks in global top three

Singapore's SP Group has published its latest annual Smart Grid Index, which benchmarks the performance of power companies worldwide against a complex, multidimensional grid. While the index shows US providers retaining overall pole position, European companies are seen as overtaking them in the transition to green energy and in the deployment of advanced monitoring technologies. UK companies Western Power Distribution and UK Power Networks took two of the top three positions globally.
